Jay Linden

Jay Linden joined the VideoLink advisory board in 2012 after spending his career in various executive level sales and marketing roles with NBC Universal Studios. He was Executive Vice-President of the NBC Strategic Partnership Group (SPG) until his retirement in February, 2010. The SPG focused on creative customer solutions and business development utilizing the broad assets of NBC Universal and General Electric (NBC’s owner).

SPG initiatives include working with multiple advertisers on non-traditional sponsorships for the Tonight Show as well as partnering with Sharp Electronics to enhance their presence in New York City. In addition, the SPG collaborated with leading brands such as American Express, Intel, Kodak, Samsung, Sony, DHL, and Lenovo.

Prior to 2002, Linden was Senior Vice President, Sales Development and Marketing, responsible for all sales-related marketing strategies and new business development for the NBC Television Network. He broke new ground at NBC in the area of integrated marketing by developing promotions such as Oldsmobile’s sponsorship of the 25th Anniversary of Saturday Night Live, which delivered tens of thousands of leads for test drives.

Before joining NBC, Linden was a producer/director at WBZ-TV in Boston, and an account executive at WTEN-TV in Albany, N.Y., and at TeleRep, the station representative in New York.
